What is PLT file?
The PLT (Plotter Language Text) file type is often used for technical drawings in the AutoCAD software by plotting or printing images. A .PLT file is an AutoCAD Plotter Document. The text that the file contains is the result of a plotting or printing operation from within AutoCAD. One can open a .PLT file with any text editor and view it in its original form, but it's generally not possible to edit these files without using another software program such as PLT Editor.
