What is DOCM file?
DOCM file is a file extension which refers to the Microsoft Word Open XML Macro-Enabled Document. The DOCM file extension can be used in .docx, .dotx and .dotm files. A DOCM file has a macro enabled document that allows users to input text or images into a document. It also contains a data dictionary that makes it possible to insert data from external sources into the document without changing the text manually. The DOCM file was introduced by Microsoft Word 2007 and it can be used in all versions of Microsoft Word from 2007 onwards.
