What is CUE file?
Cue Sheet File is an audio file format. It uses the CUE file extension and was created by D&D, Inc. in 1987 and released in 1988. It is a human readable text-based file that can be used to create a spreadsheet of sound tracks for use with music editing software such as Cubase or GarageBand. CUE files are opened in Apple's QuickTime Player software program, which also supports other Cue Sheet File types such as .CDA and .WAV. Cue Sheet Files can also be opened in Microsoft Windows Media Player version 11 or later, Microsoft Windows Media Player for Internet Radio, iTunes 7 or later, Apple iTunes 8 or later on Mac OS X 10.4 and later operating systems, and QuickTime Pro version 6 and later on Mac OS X 10.4
