What is PT5 file?
A Pro Tools 5 Session file contains two data formats: HD video files and a set of data files. The video files contain all of the audio and video tracks used by the Session file. The data files provide the automation, editing, plug-in parameters, MIDI information, and automation data for each track. A Session file can be saved in either Pro Tools or Quicktime format.
