What is OVA file?
OVAs are virtual appliances; open virtual appliances, or OVAs, are pre-configured software packages. They can be used by other developers to create new products. OVAs come in two flavors - one where the hardware is part of the software (HW-in-Box) and one where the hardware is separate (HW-on-Demand). HW-in-Boxs are meant to be installed on a machine that already has hardware like an operating system, CPU, memory and storage capacity. These appliances can be deployed using a CD or USB drive. The second type of OVA file is meant to use newer CPUs with hardware acceleration for processing graphics and video - so they can't run on older machines. This type of appliance also
