What is MPL file?
With the rise of digital media, more and more people are turning to digital storage as a means of backup. Some of these storage devices are still compatible with analog media formats such as VHS tapes. However, many people carry memory cards that use the MPL file extension to store their videos and photos on. MPL files often show up as AVI files with a .MPL extension. This is because they can be used on most video editing software programs that support AVI files without needing any additional codecs installed. These files can also be converted by simply renaming them to AVI(x) where x is the version number of AVCHD format used by your camera or camcorder.
