What is LP file?
The Lightscape Preparation File, or LP file extension, is used to prepare the data before it can be read into a Lightscape scene. The file is only needed when importing data from an already-existing Lightscape file or a sensor into another scene. These files contain information on how light interacts with objects in multiple frames of video. For example, if there was a car moving through the frame in one shot, and then you were looking at the same car in two or more shots, you would see some differences in the way it looked because each frame has different information about how light interacts with that object.
