What is LDB file?
The LDB file extension is a Microsoft Access Lock File. It is a database file format and the most common file type in Microsoft Access. An LDB file can either be open or closed. When it is closed, it cannot be opened with Microsoft Access. When this happens, the only way to open an LDB file is through using a third-party application such as LITb, ALCXPLib, or OpenLdbXML. The most common use for an (.LDB) file is to maintain a list of users and their passwords for your company's computer network or database management system.
