Comic Book Archive or ComicBook Reader is a type of file extension used to encode one or more comic books as a single archive file. CBR files can contain either images, text, or both. The most common CBR format is the Comic Book Archive File Format which stores the comics as JPG or PNG images with accompanying text in either RTF or ASCII format.
