What is BZP2 file?
The BZIP2 is a Unix-based compressed file format that can be used to compress files so they take up less space on a disk. The first program developed was the library and command line tool bzip2. It was created in 1996 and is still one of the most commonly used compression tools. Compressed files are stored in a BZIP2 archive file with the extension .bzp2. Files can be decompressed by using the bzip2 command or any other decompression executable such as WinRAR, which is also a part of RAR project.
