What is ASE file?
Adobe Swatch Exchange File, or .ase, is a file extension for Adobe Swatch Exchange files. These files contain information about the colors used in a project. They can be imported into Photoshop and Illustrator to create swatches and color palettes, as well as exported from them. This file type was introduced by Adobe around 2003; before that time, it was compressed using RLE encoding.
