What is ART file?
The ART file extension stands for the Bernina Artista embroidery file. This is an embroidery design that can be saved to a computer and converted to an editable Adobe Illustrator (.AI) file. The .ART file is mostly used by designers using Bernina machines like the Bernina Artista. The AI files can be opened in Adobe Illustrator, where they are modified and finally exported back into the ART format for use on the machine.
