What is XSD file?
XSD files are used to define the structure and content of an XML document. XSD files can be opened in any text editor, but Microsoft Visual Studio has a tool for opening and editing them. The schema is what defines the structure of the XML file and how it's going to be parsed. The schema that's created by using XSD files is used for validation purposes.
