What is PXI file?
PXI file extension is a PlexTools Disc Image file. This type of file contains data about the layout and label of a CD or DVD disc image. There are three types of PXI files: bootable, GAP, and Non-Bootable. The first type loads quickly because the media inside can be accessed without any additional software. The second type uses GapTool to read the data on the disc. The third type cannot be mounted because they need access to tools such as Linux Live-CD to start up.
