What is PCF file?
PCF files are Valve particle system file which is used to create special effects needed for game development. We can open .PCF files using a tool called 'Particle Editor'. PCF, which stands for "Particle Cloud File", is an XML-based data format that was introduced by Valve Corporation in 2007. PCF files are related to the .PNG image file type, but they are designed specifically for use with the Source engine's underlying graphics rendering system.
