What is MPC file?
Musepack files are RAR (Roshal Archive) compressed audio files. The MPC file extension contains Musepack compressed audio files that contain WAV, VOX, and DSS samples. These audio files were created by the Musepack algorithm. MPC compressed audio files are compatible with other formats like OGG, MPEG-1 Layer III, IIIb, and IV, WAVPACK 3.0 VBR, LAME MP3 (LAME), MPEG-2 Layer II CBR 128 Kbit/s or higher, MPEG-2 Layer I VBR 128 Kbits/s or higher (using variable bitrate), APE 2.0 abr128kbps or higer
