What is FP3 file?
The File Package 3, or FP3 file extension, contains all the personal settings for your computer. This data includes all the settings and preferences you have saved on your computer. This file is located in My Documents > My Settings folder. The information contained in a FP3 file can be retrieved by going to the Start Menu and clicking on Control Panel > System and Security > File Explorer Options (the option for which is listed under View).
