An EGG file is a compressed archive that can be opened with the ALZip and WinRar utility programs. It is a common method of distributing software and documents on the Internet. An EGG file contains one or more files and folders, with the following conventions: The file extension is .EGG. The extension may also include an underscore (_) or a period (.) as part of the name. For example, zip_eg5__-simple_example.egg contains all of the files in directory "zip" and sub-directory "e5" of directory "simple". Note: A single folder may also embed additional folders within it, just like embedding folders within any other folder. For example, if you create an EGG file called my_directory/
