What is CWK file?
The CWK file extension is a special file format used by ClarisWorks, an old desktop application for word processing and spreadsheet programs. The ClarisWorks Document format (.CWK) was first introduced in 1985 as a way to save documents created with ClarisWorks. It was originally called the Claris File Format but it was renamed to the Claris Works Document format in 1987. The .CWK file is associated with pictures that were created by the Claris PhotoCAD program which later became PhotoShop. The .CWK file contains information about how to import those pictures into other programs such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
